During the past year, they have combined their experiences and expertise in order to offer the widest range of pen repair and restoration services. They offer an array of services from renewing a sac to the complete restoration of a pen. These include: Nib adjustment, nib shaping and smoothing, ink flow adjustment. Barrel and cap polishing, crack repair, removal of bite marks, burns, gouges, major breaks (as long as all the pieces are saved), stabilizing crazed surfaces, reset cap bands. All filler systems (including the Pelikan 400 series and the 140). Improvements to barrel clarity and color, and color restoration to hard rubber. |

They can replace parts but call or email first to check availability, and they offer plaiting services. They also offer highly specialized services such as the replacement of Waterman lever box units in overlay pens. Their goal is to provide a restored pen that exceeds the expectation of the customer and will gladly refund the payment for any work that is found not satisfactory. Their repair facility also serves as a showroom for the sale of vintage pens, pencils and an array of other writing equipment. They maintain a stock of 600-800 sale items at any particular time with prices starting under $50 and increasing on pens that are more scarce and unusual. Appointments are necessary for their showroom and can be arraigned on weekdays, evenings, or weekends. Roger can be reached at 1-877-234-6683 to arrange a visit to the showroom or for any questions on repairs. Their website is www.penopoly.com or email Roger at penopoly1@home.com. |
