The family of Recife pens (pronounced Ray-ceef) from France, have been manufactured since 1987. Recife has been known from the start for its use of original materials, plexiglass resin, patterned hard rubber, and, of course, the clear resin Crystal Eyedropper line. These eyedropper filled pens are made in two sizes, the Senior, and the Baby. These pens hold a huge amount of ink in the clear barrel, which is filled with either an eyedropper, or with small disposable containers of ink, both of which are supplied with the pens. The section is securely threaded into the barrel, and in addition, an o-ring gasket prevents any leakage from the joint. When filled with a bright ink, the Recife Crystal is a very striking pen!
